Katy Bahn

After ten years in the IT industry, I decided to take the leap and transition into a career in the beauty industry. My last few years, I had worked as a Systems Analyst for Cherokee County at the Sheriff’s office and Public Safety facility. I resigned to begin my education at Paul Mitchell the School ESANI.

I had a wonderful time while in school! I participated in the school’s Design Team and Phase 2 and had amazing opportunities come forth. I was fortunate enough to do makeup and styling for various fashion shows, photoshoots, and competitions. I graduated top of my class and completed my Honors in cutting, color, and texture as well as making the Dean’s List.

It was while I was still in school, I met Linda at a career fair and we hit it off immediately. I fell in love with Nuance Salon and their enitre team. After visiting several other salons, I knew Nuance was going to be my home. I’ve loved being here ever since! I couldn’t find a better mentor than in Linda! Thanks to Linda and her business partner Justin, I’ve been able to expand my skills and education, for both hair and customer relationships, in ways I didn’t think possible.

Outside of making my clients look and feel beautiful with cuts and color, I specialize in makeup as well. I’m also certified in Keratin Complex smoothing systems and Hothead/Hairtalk extensions. I look forward to the many more opportunities to come while keeping our clients beautiful!
